Книга Деяний святых апостолов повествует о жизни и действии Духа Святого в Церкви. Эту книгу более тысячи лет читали за богослужением в каждом христианском храме. Но о ней же сказал святитель Иоанн Златоуст: "Многие не знают даже... ни самой книги, ни того, кто её написал и соста­вил. Поэтому-то в особенности я и решился заняться этим произведением, чтобы и научить незнающих и не допустить, чтобы такое сокровище таилось и оставалось в неизвестности". Рассказ о чудесах, приключениях и проповеди апостолов приводится здесь с максимальной близостью к библейскому тексту, но так, чтобы быть доступным и младшему школьнику.
